Location is nice, service very good, but the food was disappointing. In general food was overcooked and under seasoned. For the prices they charge, you may expect much better. Steak was medium at best, not medium rare (they slice it before cooking so medium rare will almost be impossible), lobster tasted as it had been frozen. Edamame also cooked way too long as well. Karaage chicken was ok but lacking seasoning. Same for the asparagus. I mentioned this as salt and pepper are not provided so you would expect it to be cooked to perfection.

Lovely spot with both outdoor and indoor dining areas and nice view of the water front and the boats. Authentic menu and friendly staff. Oyster, tempura prawns and the steaks with fried rice were really delicious. Nice selection of drinks and sauces.
The deserts were nice and fresh to end the experience.

I have been looking forward to the birthday dinner for a long time, and I ordered the platium's teppanyaki $99/pp. But it feels like the food is not worth the price. If you are trying teppanyaki for the first time, give it a try.

We tried the 10 course degustation menu. 10/10 on all criteria. All the dishes were tasty and well presented. Fantastic quality and seafood was fresh. Cheery on top was the dessert with creamy vanilla mochi with strawberry and marmalade.

Went with the Diamond set menu for 3.
Good selection of seafood and meats accompanied with Miso soup, greens and the egg fried rice as sides.

    The steak was the highlight.

Expected more from the experience, however the chef was fairly new and only had 8 months experience behind him so no fancy tricks or flare. There wasn't really any wow factor with the tepenyaki experience or much interaction with the chef either. Food was decent though but would opt to order tableside if I was to return.

Staff were nice, though they grabbed the bottle of wine from the table assuming it was empty. Understandable as that particular bottle was dark in colour. Still good for a glass and a half which they brought back when mentioned =)

Tasty tuna ball appetizer, nicely done lobster, melt-in-your-mouth calamari, juicy steak tenderloin, and perfect customer service; what more could you ask?
